Three apps, one retail platform

Eppetech POS handles the till. Stock and terminals are managed in two separate applications that work alongside it.

Eppetech Inventory

Separate app for the back office

  • Products and barcodes
  • Stock levels and stock movements
  • Suppliers and purchase orders
  • Goods receiving against orders
  • Reorder points and suggestions
  • Stocktakes and stock adjustments

Eppetech POS

At the till

  • Checkout and scanning
  • Payments and cash sessions
  • Offline selling on terminals
  • Sales, voids and returns
  • Dashboard and reports

Eppetech Device Manager

Separate app for your terminals

  • Register terminals and issue one-time enrolment codes
  • Assign terminals to a business and branch
  • Monitor terminal status and check-ins

One Eppetech account and one set of permissions across all three apps.

Separate application

Eppetech Inventory

Where products and stock are managed: the back-office side of your shop.

Products and barcodes you create in Inventory are the ones the till scans. Every POS sale, void and restocked return is recorded as a stock movement, so stock levels in Inventory reflect what was sold.

  • Products and barcodes
  • Stock levels and stock movements
  • Suppliers and purchase orders
  • Goods receiving against orders
  • Reorder points and suggestions
  • Stocktakes and stock adjustments

Separate application

Eppetech Device Manager

Where owners and managers look after their POS terminals.

A terminal is registered in Device Manager, which issues a one-time enrolment code. Entering the code on the terminal connects it to your business, and the terminal then checks in regularly so you can see its status.

  • Register terminals and issue one-time enrolment codes
  • Assign terminals to a business and branch
  • Monitor terminal status and check-ins

Payments and hardware

What is and isn't connected

  • Card terminals: Eppetech POS records the approval reference from your own card terminal. It is not connected to a payment gateway, and it never stores card data.
  • Barcode scanners: keyboard-wedge scanners work on any device, and compatible Android POS terminals can use their built-in scanner.
  • Receipt printers, cash drawers and label printers: not connected yet. Receipts can be previewed and reprinted on screen.
