Privacy policy

This policy explains how Eppetech Software Solutions ("Eppetech", "we") handles personal information you give us through the Eppetech POS website. We process personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• Demo requests: your name, business name, email address, phone number, type of business, number of branches, preferred contact method and any message you write.
• Technical information: the IP address a form is submitted from, used only to protect the form from spam and abuse.

How we use it

We use demo request details only to contact you about a demo of Eppetech POS and to answer your questions. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

How it is stored

A demo request is emailed to the Eppetech team and kept on our web server so it isn't lost if email is temporarily unavailable. The stored copy of a delivered request is deleted automatically after 90 days. Requests in our email system are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Cookies and third parties

• The site sets a security cookie to protect forms from misuse. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies or analytics.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
• WhatsApp links open WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@eppetech.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
